Mashups Series

Using a combination of painting, drawing, photography and digital copies of historical artworks, I have created a series of original digital paintings of remixes of famous artworks from history, updated with contemporary California iconic landscapes and people. Like the creativity that music business has shown via remixing old standards with new beats, I wanted to create new visual works, by mashing up old and new. I have also included thumbnail photos of the original historical art to compare the two artworks.

This series is available in various sizes in a limited edition fine art prints, printed on fine art paper with archival inks by a leading printer for top art museums.
