About the Imagine series

In this series of photographs, I invite your imagination to ponder a variety of things: " A moment of epiphany", or "The next BIG thing", or "Yielding to the inevitable". These Imagine-led short sentences request that you participate actively in the art and to conjure up mental images from your own individual experiences. The Imagine texts are carefully selected, matched and then imbedded into the photos to make them appear carved or chalked or spray painted on the actual surfaces in the landscapes. I want these words and their juxtapositions with the surrounding landscapes and people to invite a deeper thoughtfulness that exceeds the purely aesthetic appreciation of the images. Imagine that.
